Cricket players use a cricket net as a training tool to perfect their bowling and batting. The net, which is set up in front of the wicket, usually contains three or four posts. The posts are positioned so that they are equally spaced apart and are either constructed of wood or metal. The posts support a net that is constructed of nylon or polyester. It is normally 6 to 8 metres broad and 3 to 4 metres high. The cricket net is a useful tool for bowlers and hitters since it replicates game conditions as closely as possible. Coaches can utilise it to monitor and improve their charges' technique, which is another benefit.
